2023 CIIS – Inspiration for a modern look and approach

Context

A small holistic university focused on educating our world's leading psychotherapists and activists with trauma-informed, anti-racist, integral learning needed to step into a modern and bold look.

The goal was to propel CIIS’ visuals and storytelling to take a global stage showcasing a university with a non-traditional education that centers at the forefront of psychedelics, ecological and social justice, black and indigenous praxis, contemplative practice and community health.

01

Visual Identity

A new visual system with a new brand mark helped expand CIIS’ ability to make bolder impact for web, marketing and media.

02

Storytelling

New stories of transformation were a focal point. Nature and beauty were interwoven to create compelling visuals.

03

Media Direction

A new team was created for multimedia production with a focus on intentional, joyous making.

04

Systems

New systems for assets, processes, creative briefs, requests, and designs were launched.

05

Presentations | Marketing

Templates and new advertising campaigns were part of the overhaul.

06

Design Experience

A holistic approach was used that evaluated all touchpoints and we used design to create a better experience.

New compelling branding and materials were created for the launch of multiple new centers.
